ManiPedi range of treatments
We are professionally trained Beauty Therapists and Nail Technicians who pride ourselves on great results and excellent service. Our clients range from teens to retirees and we are proud to play a part in creating that refreshed feeling for skin, hands and feet that we all love.
Appointments can be made both telephonically or Online. However, we also cater for the busy individual who walks in for a quick treatment.
Aside from our star treatments, we have partnered with some celebrated brands to offer over the counter products that promise rejuvenation, skin renewal and easy maintenance.
Manicures
Full Manicure: We shape and buff the nails, push back and clean up the cuticles. We soak the hands and apply a scrub to exfoliate and remove dead skin. There after we apply a hand lotion rich in essential oils to moisturise and nourish the skin and perform a hand massage. We apply a nail polish colour of the clients choosing.
Naked Mani: Full Mani excluding nail polish but shining the nail to a natural shine using a miracle shiner.
Mini Mani: We apply cuticle softener and soak the cuticles. We shape the natural nail and push back and clean up the cuticles. We buff and apply nail polish.
Pedicures
Full Pedicure: When we say a full pedicure, we mean a full pedicure – 60mins of pure awesomeness!
Full Pedicure with Gelish: Full pedi with Gelish applied instead of nail polish.
Naked Pedicure: Full pedi without nail polish. Using a miracle shiner we shine the natural nail.
Buff and Rub: We soak the feet, apply a callus treatment, buff rough skin and then apply a sloughing cream.
Mini Pedi: We soak the feet in warm soapy water. We cut and shape the toenails, clean up the cuticles, buff the nail and apply nail polish.
Facials
Dermafix Classic: Cleanse, Tone, Steam, Exfoliate, Extractions, massage, masque and moisturise. (60mins)
Specialised Dermafix Facial: Classic facial concentrating on specific antiageing or pigmentation concerns. (60mins)
Environ Deep Cleanse: Cleanse, Tone, Steam, Exfoliate, Extractions, masque and moisturise (45mins)
Environ Standard : Cleanse, Tone, Steam, Exfoliate, Extractions, massage, masque and moisturise. (60mins)
Gents Treatments
Gents manicure: Full Mani excluding nail polish but shining the nail to a natural shine using a miracle shiner.
Gents pedicure :
Full pedi without nail polish. Instead we use a miracle shiner to shine the natural nail.
Buff and Rub: We soak the feet in warm soapy water and apply a callus treatment. We buff the rough skin off the heels and then apply a sloughing cream to remove further dead skin cells. We do an awesome foot massage.
Kids
Princess pedi for all kids under the age of 10 years old.
Princess Mani for all kids under the age of 10 years old.
Brows & Lashes
Threading: A cotton thread is rolled over the skin to pull out the hair from the follicle. Unlike tweezing it removes more than a single hair at a time. Although it can be more painful than waxing it is suitable for more sensitive skin types and gives more controlled shaping.
Eyelash Extensions: Classic lashes result in a natural look and are most suitable for clients wanting longer lashes. One artificial lash is applied to every natural lash providing volume but mostly length.
Half Set Lashes: Artificial lashes are attached to every second natural eyelash. Either for clients with time constraints or wanting a more demure effect.
Waxing
Face: Eyebrow, lip, chin, brow
Legs: Full leg, half leg
Bikini: Bikini, G-String, Brazilian, Hollywood
Arms: Underarms, half arms, full arms
Body: Stomach, back, fingers, toes
Extras
Paraffin Dip: Involves submerging the feet in a combination of liquified paraffin and essential oils. It soothes aching joints, improves circulation and soften and moisturises rough skin.
IBX: A penetrating toughening treatment that fuses with the natural nail to improve nail plate integrity and keep your natural nails strong. It is a good treatment to offset the natural wear and tear of artificial nails.
Vinylux & OPI Infinite Shine: Longer lasting nail polishes that do not require soak offs and chip free for up to a week.
Nail art: basic, design, chrome
Artificial
Acrylic tips: Extending the length of the nail by applying a plastic tip with acrylic over. You can have either a natural tip or a french tip. We only offer acrylic extensions as we believe that acrylic gives the best results. Acrylic is naturally very hard and therefore provides the strength required to keep the extensions in place. It does, however result in some wear and tear on the natural nail.
Acrylic refills: As the natural nail grows a gap will appear between the acrylic and the cuticle. It is recommended to refill the acrylic every 2 to 3 weeks to prevent lifting and maintain the strength of the nail and also to keep the nails looking perfect.
Gelish: Soak off Gel Polish applies like a normal polish and cures in a LED lamp in 30 seconds. Unlike the majority of gel products, it is designed to require minimal prep work on the nail bed to maintain the health of the natural nail. Gelish stays on the natural nail for 2 weeks without chipping or peeling and soaks off in 15 to 20 minutes. In our opinion this is the best value for money as your manicure will last beautifully for 2 weeks at least. It is also the popular choice amongst clients.
Repairs: Acrylic is the strongest and normally used to repair a tip that has broken off. Silk repairs is much gentler for natural nail that have torn. A small piece of silk wrap is applied to the nail with resin to reinforce the nails. Gelish repair is for when the Gelish is damaged for whatever reason.
